Julia Strangio-McRae and Emmaline Parry are all about fixing people management.

Julia is a People & Culture specialist with over 15 years in generalist HR and organisational development across some of Australia's most complex businesses. Emmaline brings deep expertise in organisational development and positive psychology applied to real business environments, the kind of knowledge that only comes from spending years inside organisations trying to understand why some teams thrive and others quietly fall apart.

Together, they founded Mirrored Horizons, recognised by the Australian Financial Review as a 2023 Fast Starter, serving businesses across Australia that needed genuine cultural and structural change, not just HR compliance tick-boxes.

Over seven years of consulting, they developed a proprietary methodology grounded in positive psychology, cognitive learning principles, and coaching-based approaches. The problem was that all of this knowledge lived in their heads and in their consulting rooms. It reached one client at a time. It didn't scale.

Where it started.

Before a single screen was designed, we built the brand. Through customer persona exploration, mood board development, and iterative validation sessions, we created a visual identity that suited the professional environments Mirrored Horizons serves... credible in boardrooms, trusted by managers, approachable to employees. Bold enough to stand out. Considered enough to be taken seriously

UX and Prototype.

Before a single screen was designed, we built the brand. Through customer persona exploration, mood board development, and iterative validation sessions, we created a visual identity that suited the construction industry's no-nonsense character while feeling modern and credible. Bold. Direct. Built to be trusted. The Clawz brand and the wolf mark came out of this process. 

Every validation session was grounded in real experience. When questions came up about how a conversation should flow, what a manager actually needs to see, or how an employee would really respond under pressure... there was someone in the room who knew.

The Webflow website was built and deployed. Full cloud infrastructure was stood up, designed to scale as the platform grows. The AI and cloud setup was built from the ground up as a state-of-the-art foundation... not a quick build that needs to be rebuilt later.

That meant every design decision, every product trade-off, and every user flow could be tested against real workplace experience... not assumptions, not personas, not guesswork.

When questions came up about how a conversation should be structured, what psychological safety actually looks like in practice, or how a manager would behave under pressure on a Tuesday morning... there were two people in the room who had lived it.
